The Starbucks Sales Toolkit App fits the purpose of showcasing and selling all the solutions available to potential partners. It’s an app designed to be used by the Starbucks sales team to help present all the possibilities to have a Starbucks in your business.
Starbucks is focused on delivering the best experience to every customer at each of it’s locations. With so many business solutions available they needed an app that showcases all the possible ways that customers can enjoy a cup of coffee through the diverse range of partnerships and business solutions.
Through eye-catching images, playful animation and intuitive navigation, the sales team are able to enchant their potential customers and partners while educating them with high level of information regarding each Starbucks solution. The app follows the same structure of a slide presentation where you can advance to the next screen by simply swiping to the left or return to the previous slide by swiping back. Some of the pages contain interactive elements, while others are designed for the simple viewing and reading pleasure. The app is designed for IOS and is only available to the Starbucks sales team.
After the app started to be used, sales increased by 40%. The Starbucks sales team was very happy with the results.
my role on the project
I worked as the creative director for the project, working also as the art director and designer. I led a multidisciplinary team of retouchers, motion designers, illustrators and developers. I designed all the app screens and created the entire user experience. I was also fully involved on the client relationship reporting directly to the client on a daily basis, submitting the work, getting the feedbacks and attending all meetings together with the project manager.
